Hemsec Installations Limited, sister company to Hemsec SIPS has recently been awarded a contract for the Design, supply and installation of Hemsec SIPS to construct 14 new 3 story town houses and a block of 12 apartments for Wates Living Space an a site in Dudley, Midlands.

The project is presently in the design phase with construction due to start on site in late March 2008.

The project is the latest in a number of recently awarded contracts where the Hemsec SIPS products have been chosen for their ability to reach the requirements of level 4 of the code for sustainability.

Andrew Cook from Hemsec Installations commented “the project had some very demanding requirements for the external walls and roof in terms of air tightness and u-values. It was, after some considerable work with Wates Living Space that the Hemsec SIPS product was chosen as other products that where initially being considered fell way short of the performance levels we are able to attain with the use of Hemsec SIPS”.
