Following on from the successful completion, in 2005, of Castlerock High School Hemsec SIPS in conjunction with process/installation partner McVeigh have been awarded the contract for the construction of the external walls and roof for a new school in Leicestershire.
The Forest Way Special Needs School requires approximately 7500m2 of 150mm & 180mm thick Hemsec SIPS to construct the external envelope.
The first panels for the project will arrive on site early in January 2008 with an 8 week programme period for installation being agreed by McVeigh for the total installation.
This project is the latest in a series of joint contract awards with Wilmott Dixon Construction for the use of Hemsec SIPS on educational buildings.
