Residential Development in Ireland
Hemsec in conjunction with its partner SipFrame Ireland have been successful in being awarded a contract for the supply of 42 ready to assemble SIPS kits for housing in Portadown Northern Ireland.
The contract award has been the result of intensive negotiations with Simms Construction Limited who are the Design and build contractor for the development.
The development consists of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom detached properties with a commencement on site during August 07 and a construction period of some 9 months.
The first 4 units where delivered to site early in August with the first unit a 4 bedroom property being erected in little over 3 days.
Michael Simms, MD of Simms Construction, commented that he believed the system had numerous benefits over and above traditional building methods and that his intention was to utilise the product for other developments in the near future.
